The Clippers and Lakers were both awarded the All-Star Game as hosts. Rihanna will be the sole halftime performer, while Keri Hilson and Bruno Mars will be the entertainment for the pre-show festivities. The roster of players include the best from Eastern Conference All-Stars where they will be coached by Doc Rivers of Boston Celtics and Western Conference All-Stars with head coach Gregg Popovich of San Antonio Spurs.
On Friday night, the celebrities get to try their luck out on the hardwood floor in the 2011 NBA Celebrity All-Star game. The event will be shown on ESPN starting at 7PM EST. Singer Justin Bieber is among the celebs looking to get their game on. At 9PM EST on TNT, following the celebs game, will be the NBA’s annual Rookies vs Sophomores game. Featured in the contest will be rookie phenoms John Wall and Blake Griffin.
